- Uses digital imaging and Auto-Particle Recognition (APR™) software to classify urine particles into 12 categories and quantitatively report results.
- Auto-identifies and processes barcoded tube specimens in 10-position racks by mixing, sampling, and analyzing automatically.
- The resolution is sufficient to distinguish between RBCs and WBCs and the field of view is large enough to image complete casts and epithelial cell sheets.
- Size, shape and texture features are used by the APR software to classify each image into one of 12 categories: RBCs, WBCs, WBC Clumps, Hyaline Casts, Unclassified Casts, Squamous Epithelial Cells, Non-squamous Epithelial Cells, Bacteria, Yeast, Crystals, Mucus and Sperm.
- Specimen results can be edited, archived, retrieved, imported, exported and formatted into custom reports.
